The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) confirmed that Section 3 of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, covering 312 km from Dausa to Lalsot in Rajasthan, has achieved 100% construction completion and is ready for inauguration pending safety certification.
This brings the overall completion of the DME to 72%, with the remaining sections in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra expected to be complete by Q3 2025. The section will reduce Jaipur-Kota travel time from 6 hours to under 3 hours.
